Ahhhhh…..good memories!
I’m sitting here listening to U2’s Joshua Tree album and it brings back some good memories. Mostly of my first year of college. The album had been out for a while then, but I really go into it then. I think it’s their best.
Anyway, It’s here! I’m going to pick it up as soon as the store opens. Regarding that I just want to take this opportunity to apologize to anyone who was disturbed by the comments I made in my last post. I’m not really suicidal and I would NEVER ride without a helmet. It simply makes no sense for me to ride with out a helmet because it’s required equipment for the rides I do. So it would be stupid to train without one.
Sarah and I got the garden seeded yesterday evening. I finished the rows and mounds up and the only thing I have left is to put my herbs in pots and I’ve got to run by Wal-Mart or Lowe’s or Home Depot and get some Tomato plants. I had seeds somewhere, but I seem to have misplaced them. Anyway, I figure I’m going to put out about 5 plants and I can just get the one’s that are already a couple inches tall. If all goes well here’s what the garden will produce: Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers, Yellow Squash, Zucchini, Black-eye Peas, Green Beans, Okra, Corn, Watermelon, Pumpkin, Basil and Parsley. I should also have Black Berries, Grapes, and Blue Berries and I have fruit trees that I don’t know what they are.
Remaining on the To-Do List is the Kitchen Tile and paint, the Half-Bath Tile and Paint, the Barn door for the shed (so I can park the riding mower inside, I’ve got to weed all my flower beds and spread bark and rework some of my landscape timbers. The Kitchen Tile and Bathroom Tile will be done this weekend while the painting will be a work in progress over the course of the next two weeks. I plan on having it done by the 14th when I expect Mom to come over. The Kitchen should look VERY different than the last time she saw it.
Hope everyone is doing well!
Todder, Out!
